Our policy is to employ competent project managers, who are either CAPM / PMP certified or who have the necessary credentials and potential to become CAPM / PMP certified.
We run our Projects using sound Project management methodology as set out in the PMI PMBOK.
Essentially, we strive for the Triple Constraint Model principles as required to ensure successful completion of our projects.
We make use of Microsoft Project 2010 to plan and track all projects, no matter how small they may be. Our project managers are trained to use the software at an advanced level.
We employ a quality assurance / quality control system that is intended to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2000
We strive to provide our clients with exceptional quality and where time and cost constraints allow, we are simply not prepared to compromise on our quality standards!
We make use of qualified and competent artisans (Pipe fitters / Boiler makers / Welders) and in most cases pay these persons rates that are higher than market related. This has allowed us to build and develop a regular and competent core team, from which we are able to build on as and when required.
This core team assists with continuity in our strive to provide quality workmanship as they tend to instil these qualities onto any new or temporary team members.
Project costs are managed at top management level and as stated previously, we strive to handle all projects in a transparent and fair manner. We simply ask for a fair assessment and fair payment for the work as fairly completed. We therefore employ an open book policy where we prefer to enter into discussions with our clients, rather than “throw the book” contractually. Having said that, we are obviously meticulous in our contract management and need, at all times, to ensure that the company is not unnecessarily exposed contractually or legally.
